  1. My daughter wanted a dog very badly, and I am allergic to dogs. She did lots of research on dogs and talked to lots of people about them. I had an impossible list of requirements for the perfect dog. She ended up finding a kind of dog that worked really well for our family. In fact, we got 2!! They are a lot of work, but between my daughters and me, we are able to make it work. Hang in there...!

  2. Hi Miranda,

I am seven and I love dogs too! I want a dog for Christmas. I think dogs are cute. My favorite dog is a greyhound-husky named Miela. She lives right upstairs from me. Snow Buddies is awesome and I really want to see Santa Buddies too!

  3. Hi Miranda,

I too am a dog lover! I have four dogs of my own, and I'm the founder and coordinator of a dog rescue organization (for German Shorthaired Pointers). I know how hard it is to love dogs but not be able to have one. Several years ago, I lived in a condominium with no backyard, and I was never home. It was the first time in my life that I didn't have a dog, and I MISSED THEM! So, I came up with a solution that worked for me and worked for the dogs -- I started to volunteer at the local humane society! That way, I got to spend time with dogs, and the dogs in the shelter got to get out for walks more often than they normally would. It was a win-win situation for everyone.

So, I was wondering if you had considered volunteering for something like that. Or maybe starting up your own dog-walking business for dogs around the neighborhood. If you think about it, I bet you can come up with a bunch of ways to be around dogs and help them out at the same time!

Good luck to you, and I'm sure that one day, you will be able to have your very own dog. :)
